Sarah Baker

Sarah Baker (they/she), once a handstand child prodigy, claims they are now “just a normal adult.” Anyone can see this is false – they’re quite clearly three raccoons in a trench coat.

Sarah studied circus at Circus Juventas, Stomping Ground Studio, and NECCA, theatre and dance at St. Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists, and clowning at the Celebration Barn Theater and the Guthrie Theater. This all combines into a performance style that is playful, lyrical, creative, and engaging. With over 20 years of performing experience, Sarah has entertained audiences of 10 to 1000+ around the globe.

Sarah enjoys training, coaching, and performing many circus disciplines (hand balancing, clowning, juggling, acro flow, Chinese pole, partner acro, flying trapeze, the list goes on…) but considers handstands their “happy place.” They are often found at NECCA, off in a corner, upside-down, staring at the floor.
